01What is klass, exactly?+
A mock-exam platform for Nigerian secondary schools, SS1 to SS3. Students sit JAMB and WAEC papers under real timing on a CBT that mirrors the exam, every question carries a worked solution, and the school gets a printable page showing exactly which topics each class is weak on. Not a generic LMS, and not a standalone exam app the school cannot see into.
02Which exams does it cover?+
JAMB and WAEC. A JAMB sitting is the real shape — four subjects under one two-hour clock, scored out of 400 — and WAEC papers run at their own real lengths, which differ per subject. Every question is filed under a topic and a subtopic, so a mock does not just return a score, it names the exact topic a student is weak on. SAT® practice is included free; it is a small set and we do not pretend otherwise.
03How does a struggling student actually improve?+
Each mock is graded down to the subtopic and sorted weakest-first, so the gap is named rather than guessed at. Every question carries the working, not just the right letter. A student can then practise only the questions they got wrong, and sit a fresh paper as often as they like. The teaching is still the teacher’s job — klass tells them precisely what to re-teach.
04What does it cost?+
₦1,000 per student per term for JAMB, ₦2,000 for WAEC, or ₦2,500 for both. For comparison, JAMB itself charges ₦1,500 for a single mock. Schools collect it as a term levy line, the way exam and computer fees already work, and we invoice the school — never the students.
05How do students log in?+
With the matric number they already have, plus a starter password they change on first login. No student email addresses required.
06What devices does it run on?+
Any device with a modern browser: a shared lab PC, a 5-inch Android phone, or a tablet, in landscape or portrait. Sessions run server-side, so a student can start a mock on a school PC and finish it on a phone at home, and a dropped connection does not lose their answers.
07How do teachers and parents follow progress?+
Teachers open one page: every student in the arm, their scores, and the class’s weakest topics ranked. It prints, so it works in a staff meeting or a parent evening without anyone logging in. None of it stays hidden in a student’s app.
08How long does setup take?+
An afternoon. Bulk-upload your students from one spreadsheet, and matric IDs and starter passwords are generated for you. Each class is then granted the exams it needs.
09Is our data safe?+
Each school's data is isolated at the database row level, so no school can see another's records. Daily automated backups. Withdrawn students keep their practice history, and deactivated accounts cannot log in.
